With self-confidence bordering on arrogance, the fearless Kotare will defend its territory against other birds and even much larger mammals. It’s distinctive large black bill is designed for diving up to a metre into water, but is equally effective against large insects, lizards, mice and even small birds.

Made from 3mm Corten® steel, which is designed to rust to fade into the surrounds.
